Try to avoid too long continuous printing time (especially color proof printing), as long printing time will easily make the print head overheat. On the one hand, it affects the service life of the nozzles of the printer, on the other hand, it seriously affects the printing quality and printing accuracy, and even makes the printing nozzles scrapped.

When printing color pictures, it is recommended to change the pictures frequently, so as not to use a single color too quickly and cause waste.

Before shutting down, let the print head return to the initial position (when the printer is in the pause state, the print head automatically returns to the initial position). Some printers automatically move the print head to the initial position before shutting down; some printers must confirm that they are in a pause state (ie, the pause light or the PAUSE light is on) before shutting down. One is to avoid wasting ink by cleaning the print head again when the printer is turned on next time; the other is that the print head can be sealed by the protective cover at the initial position to ensure that the ink will not evaporate easily and cause the print head to be blocked.

Some printers are mechanically locked in the initial position. At this time, if the print head is moved by hand, it cannot be moved from its original position. Be careful not to forcibly move the printing cart, otherwise, it will damage the mechanical part of the printer. In the initial position, the print head is in a locked state. At this time, do not manually move the print head to replace the ink cartridge, so as to avoid malfunction.

The replacement of the ink cartridge must be carried out in accordance with the steps in the operation manual, and special attention should be paid to the operation with the power turned on. Because after the ink cartridge is replaced, the printer will refill the ink delivery system, and this process will not be possible in the off state, so that the printer cannot detect the reinstalled 'ink cartridge. In addition, some printers use the electronic counter inside the printer to count the ink capacity (especially in the statistics of color ink usage). When the counter reaches the preset value, the printer judges that the ink has been used. do. During the ink cartridge replacement process, the printer will reset its internal electronic counter to confirm that a new ink cartridge is installed. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the old ink cartridges from being replaced by themselves and replace them with new ink cartridges when the machine is turned off. This operation is invalid for the printer.

When plugging and unplugging the printer power cord and printing cable, be sure to turn off the printer power.

When the ink cartridge is not used for a long time, it should be placed at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight.
